William "Bill" Mabry of Fultondale passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 following a long illness. He was a member of Fulton Springs Baptist Church. He worked for many years for the State of Alabama. He enjoyed fishing, Antiquing, and collecting, Alabama football, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He worked for many years for the State of Alabama. He enjoyed fishing, Antiquing, and collecting, Alabama football, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Lopez Mabry and Morgan Mabry, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Oden Mabry; his son, Keith Mabry (Angela) of Trussville, AL; two daughters, Sherri Middleton of Gulf Shores, AL and Robin Mackinaw (Scott) of Lavon, Tx; and his sister, Sandra Scott of Birmingham. He has seven grandchildren, Nicole and Kerri Mabry, Alex and Jordan Middleton, and Thomas, Robert, and Kayli Grace Mackinaw. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Jose Tallaj and staff, Amedisys Home Health and Hospice, Vitas Hospice, and the Fultondale Paramedics.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel from 9:30 until service time at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Walker's Chapel Cemetery in Fultondale, AL. Pallbearers will be Alex Middleton, Thomas "Mack" Mackinaw, Robert Mackinaw, Johnny Aycock, Mark Manning, and Wesley Riggs.
