Cecil, a resident of Hayden, AL, is survived by his loving wife, Ann Gamel Bradberry; son, William Randall Bradberry; daughter, Cheri Niblett (Mark); grandchildren, John, Houston, and Anna Niblett and a host of family and friends.

Cecil graduated from Jones Valley High School in 1961, where he was active in sports. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1962. On April 25, 1964, he married Ann Gamel and they moved to Norfolk, VA, where they lived until he was discharged in 1966. During his service he achieved the rank of Sargent First Class and was the personal driver for the Commandant of the Armed Forces Staff College in Norfolk, VA.

Cecil is a Past Master Mason in the Bilbro Lodge #716, Birmingham, AL. He enjoyed a 40 year career in the trucking industry. He and Ann became members of the First Baptist Church Hayden, AL, in 1997.

Cecil was very involved in the interests of Randy and Cheri when they were growing up. He was proud of their accomplishments as adults. Mark joined his family in 1991 and Cecil always considered him a son. When the grandchildren came into his life, he enjoyed spending time with them. His favorite hobby was fishing and being on the lake where he and Ann lived the past 28 years. Some of his best times involved the laughter that was part of every family gathering. He especially enjoyed spending time on the water with his family, whether it was on the lake on at the beach.

Cecil will be best remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a loyal friend.

Celebration of his life will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel. Visitation at 12:00 noon; funeral service at 2:00pm followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Hayden, Building Fund.

Arrangements under the direction of Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL.
